Love and harm are feelings that many poets express in their poems. In The Dead Woman, Jody presents different emotions towards the fact of losing a loved one(a). She illustrates her emotions by means of with(predicate) the description of a possible situation where she may tolerate her beloved and what she would go through. It is about one person climax to terms with death, how painful and heartbreaking it is for her and in fact for either human being, which is why I identify with her poem. We all go through embarrassing moments like that at some predict of our lives and I did. Jody tells us that she will need courage and belief to go through those rough moments in life. The poet s destructions this message by her voice of despair and courage. I find a mystic connection with the poem not only for having gone through the experience of losing a love one, but also by having had to struggle with that pain and go on with life.
The The Dead Woman is about a woman who is imagining the situation if her beloved one passes away and what the consequences would be. She knows that, if this occurs she would have to accept her death and be equal to keep open with his life, even though it will be unattackable for him.



Meanwhile, Jody remembers that she was able to help her loves ones when they are in difficult moments, she would show them to have faith and courage. But when the time comes for her loved one, it is grievous for her to accept it, she wants to go where she is but she cant. At the end she realizes that what she wanted from her was to be brave, so she was.
This poem has spoken to me in different ways; it reminded me of my grandmother and of how hard it was for me to accept her death. Also, when I am going through difficult moments in life, it is hard to fix the problems even if you are trying all your best, so there is not anything else to do just continue walking, continue with your life.
