The single most tragic event in humankind history, the Holocaust was responsible for the deaths of over sixer million guiltless Jewish people. When the Nazi party rose to power in the desperate war-torn country of Germany, their leader, Adolf Hitler, began the extermination of Jews, gypsies, homosexuals, disables and much to a greater extent; believing that this would end Germanys suffering. Hitlers unmatched speaking ability gave him leverage over his people, convincing them to go into a war against the world and put innocent people into immersion camps that can literally be described as cuckoos nest on earth. Elie Wiesel was one of the millions of unfortunate victims of this atrocious torture camps pile up by Hitler and his Nazi party, but unlike six million other Jews, Wiesel get throughd to tell his story. Elie Wiesel, (or Eliezer as he is called in the book) along with his sister were raised by Jewish parents who gave him a strong religious background. But after being confine in the concentration camps, the mien of the God whom he was so fond of begins to fade. But after being able to survive the holocaust, Wiesel went on to write the novel Night to show a vivid story of how horrific the holocaust truly was. Wiesel would lastly receive the Nobel peace prize for his efforts on spreading cognisance on the humanities of the Jewish people.
