The study was developed to determine if car owners attitudes near the safety of the Toyota brand had been affected by the major recall in 2008. To accomplish the study the team crossways the nation distri simplyed 10,000 surveys evenly across four different brands; Toyota, Ford, GM and Honda. Samples of carbon surveys were randomly chosen from each brand to study the statistical results of the survey. The survey contained 22 multiple superior questions. Each choice for each question was assigned a number to tiller it easier to use descriptive statistics to evaluate the data.
The survey was quite bulky and asked each respondent to answer a number of questions about how they make decisions related to new automobile purchasing. Demographic questions were interspersed throughout the survey. The average age of respondents was among 35 and 44 and the average salary was between $31,000 and $40,000.
