About a year ago I had started to receive a particular question: “what do you plan, or want, to do with your course?” Up until this summer that outcome was a simple one, work in a picture taking studio. This made sense considering that I was unhorseting an art degree that focused on photography. But something seemed to be missing. It was as if vertical working at a studio was not the proficient thing for me to do.
For the past year and a half I shake worked for Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. as a grooming ancillary in their Hillsboro grooming salon. I build met with a large(p) variety of cats, dogs, reptiles, and other pets. I charter built up a great deal of patience and customer value skills that would be invaluable in any business. Most of exclusively I have built up a family not only with my co-workers but my customers that is invaluable. This summer I fatigued somewhat forty hours a week working at Petco. After servicingso many dogs and customers I think I have found the missing piece to what I wanted to do with my degree. I just need to learn more about it.
I have decided that I would the likes of to channel a pet services business. That is a bit of a broad topic, I know. In the future I would like to have a “one-stop-shop” for the busy pet owner.
Some where they empennage drop their pet off for the day and grab a cup of coffee as they head off to the office. Where they underside call us and have us come and watch out their pets at home so they do not have to worry about their pet being stressed at a kennel. I would also provide education classes to get wind prospective, and present, pet owners proper care and first aid for their pets.
My shop class would have a bakery café attached called the Pet scraping Bakery. There would be space for people to bring their pets (cats, dogs, ferrets, etc), sit down and relax with a nice treat or two.
