Introduction Racial discrepancy at times seemed to be a driving major power in the United States. Men and woman alike were separate like animals even down to even playing a good ole game with one another. Times have changed and individuals from polar cultures now are able to play sports to hold fasther in unity regardless of skin color. In this paper we result review how race plays an important role in the explanation of sports. We will also give recommendations to continue with the equality of embrace different races in sports.
Brief history - Race and racial minorities at times seemed to be affected by the opinions of popular culture. Race and sports have been a big influence in popular culture. Example; during the well-mannered rights movement a color barrier was broken by Jackie Robinson. Jackie Robinson was the first African American to play with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1947. Duckett (2003) stated, Mr. Robinson had no comfort in accepting being called racial names by other teammates (p. 10). With Mr. Robinsons help the Brooklyn Dodgers brought home the World serial publication Championship in 1955. Mr. Robinson became the first in many to complete other awards.
