From Polynesia, they arrived in spick-and-span Zealand more than 900 years B.-C., and as any people, their culture is adequate in traditions and values. Amongst those cultural features, one stands up as prominent, their warrior culture. And this trace will be highlighted in numerous tribal fights as well as in European settlers-Maoris fights. Thus, this research paper will attempt to cover the Taranaki war, one of the settlers-Maoris fights over the Taranaki territory.
