People are already likely to do anything for their God especially when they live in reverence of penalization or death.

The republic of Gilead is created and maintains its power structure through the use of religion, laws that isolate people from communication to one another and their families, and the fear of punishment for disobeying the law. Ms. Atwood presents a ficitonal world in order to remonstrate on the real world and i shall expand on how this occurs further into my essay.
